Sinco in heat!!

The time has finally arrived and Sinco is in heat!  Let's hope the logistics will all work out next week for the surgical AI!

I feel like I've been shot out of a cannon - all these months of planning and waiting and now it is here with no warning.

Last Wed. I had Sinco evaluated by a Canine Rehab Specialist and learned about exercises to do while she is pregnant and nursing that will help keep her in shape so she will be able to return to agility as quickly as possible.  It is hard for me to think about sitting out the summer agility season.  I will miss all of the indoor Soccer Blast trials this summer which are my favorite ones!  However I think having the puppies will be very rewarding and fun.  These things never happen on our time schedule.

I want to do the breeding this year so next year we are clear to go to the ASCA Nationals in Wisconsin.

It is interesting that these puppies will be due around Sinco's birthday.  Very interesting indeed.  They will also be born around Leysha's birthday too.  Sigh...

Now I have a lot of things to do since I will have a lot more going on the next couple of weeks.
